Sometimes photographs are meticulously planned, sometimes they are spontaneous and other times it can just be a case of being in the right place at the right time.
This is what happened to me last Saturday on a Photographic MeetUp at the Victoria & Albert Museum in South Kensington. Outside of the museum while I was busily capturing the wonderful afternoon shadows I spotted a stunningly beautiful girl wearing an equally striking coat. We chatted that the setting was amazing with its contemporary design and she asked me if I would mind taking a photo of her on her iphone.
Yes I said if you don't mind me taking a photo of you. She willingly obliged and, in the space of a few minutes I was able to capture this great portrait of the person I can only refer to as "The lady in the amazing coat".
